We are proud to announce the recipients and proposals that were accepted for the 2010 Imagine Fund Annual Awards. 182 awards representing $728,000 in support for research in the arts, design, and the humanities were made in 2010.
We are proud to announce the recipients and proposals that were accepted for the 2011 Imagine Fund Annual Awards. 151 awards representing $755,000 in support for research in the arts, design, and the humanities were awarded in December, 2010, for the 2011 academic year.
Tom Lane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art, Ceramic Area and a master mold maker who specializes in casting large porcelain vessels. 9/11 Memorial Urn is part of his ongoing research into conflict and loss.
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2013 Imagine Fund Annual Awards. 131 awards representing $655,000 in support for research in the arts, design, and the humanities were awarded in January, 2013 for the 2013 academic year. In addition, 12 Special Events Awards, which represent $104,000, were accepted for 2013.
Applications from faculty are under review for 2015-16 Special Events Grants and for Annual Faculty Awards, two Imagine Fund programs supporting U of M faculty research in the arts, humanities, and design. The application period closed December 1 for Special Events grants and October 27 for the annual Faculty Awards.
The Imagine Fund will award up to 120 Annual Awards and up to 20 Special Events Grants to support projects during the 2015-16 academic year.
